Happy Travel Tuesday! Just came here to tell you Happy Travel Tuesday! Just came here to tell you how excited I am about the upcoming trip @blacktrottersafrika will be hosting to Kenya and Zanzibar. As you may know, Zanzibar is one of my all time favorite destinations. I spent my 30th birthday there and vowed to come back and explore more (because 9 days just wasn't enough🙈). Well, BlackTrotters Afrika will be making all of that possible. I can't wait to soak my feet in the soft white sand and stuff my face with the freshest, tastiest sea food I've ever had. Add to that a new destination, KENYA! What more could a girl ask for? Check out @blacktrottersafrika page for more information on this trip and upcoming one. Social Media Detox ____ Decided to take a much ne Social Media Detox ____ Decided to take a much needed social media hiatus and it has done wonders for me. I had found myself spending countless hours scrolling mindlessly through the socials, not being present and neglecting my mental health. I would go through my phone first thing in the morning and before bed every night. I was too absorbed and needed to detach. ____ All I can say is it's been a great month of self care, productivity and spiritual maintenance. I love how she always reminds me to be calm, still, take in the moment and be grateful. I never miss an opportunity to spend some time in nature. So when one of the activities offered by @glampingadventuresza was a guided morning walk in the nature reserve, I had to jump on it. What a beautiful experience it was; walking in the midst of wild animals and taking in the amazing views from the top of this very rock. It didn't have to take this long but I had my reasons, some filled with excuses which lead to procrastinating. A three year procrastination🙃! For the most part it was because I wasn't confident enough or it just wasn't perfect (fear disguised as being a perfectionist) enough.
